Overview
Holmes Chapel Comprehensive School commissioned us to provide renovations to their dim and dark drama room transforming it into a bright and modern library for students to relax, read and work.
Project
Despite challenges including the pandemic and material shortages, we successfully worked closely with the architect, to ensure the designs met all the requirements and more.
Details
Specific features included constructing a two-story mezzanine with staircases, replacing windows and doors, modernising the lighting scheme, integrating electronic windows and blinds, adding acoustic panelling, and renovating the external area. The installation was completed during term time, requiring careful attention to health and safety procedures.
